Jun 23, 2007 2:52 PM By Pat Schoenbeck Early in the week of diving with Reef Divers, a DM said during our briefing at Great Wall West "kick ard to the edge of the wall and free fall over the edge - but stop at 60'".
Drifting from 10'' to 60' like a skydiver in sow motion was something I wont forget. I will also remember all the other wonderful sights and experiences I've had this week - highlights include: * Numerous turtles munching happily on sponges, oblivious to our presence; * Stubby the Spotted Eagle Ray who graced us with an elegant fly-by on the sandy patch and again out on the wall; * goofy Yellow Jawfish ever vigilant with their housekeeping; * Groupers who loved being with us, some following like puppy dogs; * the colourful skools of numerous species of fish, incredible variety of sponges and corals; * getting within 3' of a Stingray as he swooped overhead; and * getting t the last 2 dives, sad that he whole experience was coming to an end. Thanks LCBR and Reef Divers staff, its been terrific! Pat CommentsCategory: General | Posted By: Dive Master |
